BMW Pickup truck

The BMW X7 Pick-up is a one-off version made by BMW Group trainees in collaboration with the Concept Vehicle Construction and Model Technology divisions at the Munich plant. It is a BMW X7 pickup that is completely real, although it is a one-off that will not reach production. The vehicle is based on the luxurious BMW X7 and combines the driving technology of the 340hp X7 xDrive40i SUV with the innovative vehicle concept of a five-seat luxury pickup.

The BMW X7 Pick-up the features

The handcrafted cargo area boasts a sophisticated polished wood finish, height-adjustable two-level air suspension and numerous luxury accessories that make this BMW X7 Pick-up the ideal companion on many occasions.

This unique model is based on a BMW X7 xDrive40i and therefore equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder in-line engine with 340 hp and 450 Nm, which, at least in its production version, allows the X7 to dispatch 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and reach a speed of 245 km/h.

Behind the cabin, which can accommodate up to five people, the BMW X7 Pick-up offers ample cargo space: 140 cm long when closed and becomes 200 cm when opened. Thanks to the intelligent use of CFRP on the roof components, doors and rear side, the overall weight of the pickup has been reduced by 200 kg compared to the production model, despite the fact that the vehicle body is 10 cm longer.

The high-quality handmade teak wood cladding of the loading area and the tailgate elements, handles, and edges made of SLS 3D pressure parts testify to the innovative scope, competence, and technical precision of BMW trainees. The combination of honey-colored teak wood and BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue Metallic – an exclusive navy-blue finish that increases depth when exposed to sunlight – was inspired by water sports and creates a sophisticated look.

Carbon fiber is used for the roof and back doors, and it seems that you have succeeded in reducing the weight by 200 kg.

Although there are no images of the interior, the original "five-seater" passenger space is well secured, and it can be said that it is "the most luxurious pickup truck in the world."
